Biggest Loser Season 14 Ramblings

Happy Hump Day!

We are finally at the mid-point of the week and it’s only downhill from here to another fabulous weekend!  I’m trying to be a glass half full kind of girl today (wish it was full of wine), only two more days of work (not including today - I like to rush things) until the weekend!.

What’s your favorite T.V. show of all time?

I’ll tell you what mine is! It’s the Biggest Loser for many, obvious reasons.  I've been following this show for FOREVER.  I am obsessed with watching the trainers torture all of these willing souls with envy (sounds evil right?).  What I would give to be on this show or a chance to just go through a last chance workout with Bob, Jillian or Dolvett!

Who is my favorite trainer?

I don’t know if I have one to be honest! I am OBSESSED with Bob because honestly he is one sexy man covered in many sexy tattoo’s on that very muscular body…  Sorry, that got a little out of hand... haha and Jillian, I mean I want to be her! She is gorgeous and has a sick body.  I also love her no, nonsense attitude while training the contestants.  Many may think that she is really harsh but I think that’s exactly what these contestants need! They did this to their body and now they have to pay the consequences.  If they thought it was going to be easy then they were extremely wrong! Dolvett, I think he has one of the more positive and uplifting attitudes of the three trainers and really treats his teams with a lot of respect.  It also doesn’t hurt that he is easy on the eyes ;).

Okay, enough of my ramblings… back to Season #14!

So far I’m not sure if this is going to beat one of my favorite seasons of all time (Season 11 - Girl Power!) but I do love the message that they are sending with Challenge America and Childhood Obesity.
Girl Power!
My favorite contestant of Season 14, I think it would have to be Danni!  She is so strong and so awesome! I love her positive attitude that she carries with her and she is never as dramatic as the majority of the other contestants.  She used to be an athlete and I feel like she carries that discipline around with her at all times.

This weeks episode…

Bubble Gum anyone? Um…. EW! That challenge looked absolutely disgusting and I watched so nervously for those contestants with knee issues. I do not think that challenge was good for their knees at all but whatever, they made it through in one piece!  Oh and lets not forget how the blue team got stuck in that horrible room of video games and treats for 4 ½ hours a day! Is it me or was anyone else pissed that they actually just sat in that room the whole time? Um, get up off of your lazy butts and move! Bob gave you a last chance workout in that room at the end of the week… did you ever even consider that it was possible to workout in there before then? That really pissed me off but they did have awesome weigh in’s when it was all said and done with so I’m sure they got in some other workouts that weren’t aired.

Pam, Pam, Pam… she is one interesting contestant… don't you think? I mean the girl lost 9 lbs this week but with tons of D.R.A.M.A. I, personally cannot handle the excuses upon excuses that someone gives in order to get out of a workout or eating right.  Pam, was the president of excuses and drama in this episode.  I mean Jillian, who isn’t always the nicest girl was actually C.O.M.P.L.I.M.E.N.T.I.N.G. you and then you still go ahead and have a freak out while on the treadmill??? The reason that you claim is that you’re jealous of everyone’s break through’s and that you still have yet to have one? Girl, you’re going to have a nervous breakdown or give me one in passing.  You need to relax and suck it up! Enough with the drama, you’re annoying me.  Poor Jillian has her hands full with that one.

Spoiler Alert:  Warning, do not proceed if you do not want to know who left the Biggest Loser House…

Goodbye, Cate.. I honestly don’t remember her too much from the first two episodes but watching her on Monday night I thought that she was such a sweet girl.  She was kicking ass in her workouts and looking like she was making a positive turn around.  It was sad for her to leave but I think that she will do amazing at home!  She’s already in One-derland so that is fantastic!

Okay, enough of my Biggest Loser rambling… How has everyone’s week been so far?

My mood has been absolutely fabulous because I’ve been SO productive with my workouts AND I’ve been eating exceptionally well.  A week ago I was sick with the Flu causing me to take off a week from the gym (worst nightmare ever).  I cannot remember the last time that I took more than two days in a row off from the gym so, this just killed me... killed my mood... killed my body... and killed my energy levels.  As soon as I was feeling 100%, I went right back into my workouts.  My first workout back, you would think that I never worked out in my life.  I was exhausted and drained, honestly just pushing myself through so that I could finish and go home.  This is why I HATE taking days off from the gym (besides my weekly rest day) because it’s SO much easier to lose the work that you’ve put in than to actually gain the results from your hard work.  Well, it’s now been over a week and I finally feel like myself again! I have so much energy and I’m not as bloated feeling anymore a.k.a. my ‘soft’ feeling is leaving! Yay!

By keeping back up with my workouts I feel so much more productive.  Is this the same for you? I have all of this energy that I don’t even know what to do with! Whenever I’m productive in my diet and exercise it bleeds on into my personal life.  I just take care of myself and everything around me so much more!  Maybe it’s just me but that’s what happens and I’m not going to fight it J.

Well, enough of my ramblings for today! I hope that you all have a fabulous Wednesday!

Xoxo,
